After we cleanse your skin, we may apply a topical numbing cream to cool your skin and help minimize any discomfort you might feel during the treatment
During the procedure, you may receive treatment with the 1540 fractional laser, IPL, or both. This will depend on the skin concerns that you are looking to address. Using our specialized handpieces, we will make a few passes on your skin to induce collagen and elastin production. After the session is over, you can expect some minor redness or swelling. This should fade eventually, and aside from needing to protect yourself from the sun, you can return to your normal activities right away.
Although patients usually notice visible improvements after one treatment, a series of 3-4 treatments are generally recommended to achieve optimal results.* This is especially true if you are looking to improve the tone, texture, and appearance of your skin.
